Channel 14 has an opinion. Netanyahu's opinion

For more than a year, Channel 14 presented a consistent line against the hostage deal: It blatantly attacked the supporters of the deal and the families of the hostages • In their News broadcasts, they tried to ignore the struggle to return the hostages and in their programs they compared the supporters of a deal to collaborators with Hamas • But as soon as Netanyahu changed his mind, the editors, anchors, commentators, and pundits followed suit • The moral flexibility of the channel's staff proves once again: Channel 14 is a propaganda channel in the service of one politician

The Minister of Communications announced that he does not recognize the Israeli court

The Supreme Court ordered an end to the paralysis imposed by Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi on the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation's board • In a confused and aggressive announcement, the minister responded that he would not honor the court order and that he was the only authorized interpreter of the law: "I determine that there is a constitutional impediment" • He also called on the Minister of Justice to harm the court and the Minister of Finance to harm the corporation • If he sticks to his decision, enforcement authorities will have to intervene • Prime Minister Netanyahu did not respond

Supreme Court Grants Fourth Extension in Gaza Media Petition

The Foreign Press Association filed a petition with the Supreme Court of Justice demanding permission for journalistic coverage in the Gaza Strip, which has been closed for 15 months • According to the association, the lack of professional and reliable coverage infringes on freedom of the press and harms Israel's security, as it leaves the media arena to Hamas supporters • The state is attempting to stall the proceedings.
