Channel 14 displayed a caption for several minutes describing US Vice President Kamala Harris, who is running in the US presidential election, as a "terrorism supporter".

"Less than a week before US elections: Jerusalem concerned about election of terrorism supporter Kamala Harris as US President", read the caption across the screen during a discussion on the "Thursday Studio" program hosted by Yaakov Bardugo, PM Netanyahu's political advisor who simultaneously works as a commentator and host on the channel.

In response to the publication, Channel 14 stated "This was a mistake, lessons were learned", however, the false caption actually aligns well with the channel's messaging, which unconditionally supports Netanyahu and promotes a media culture of incitement, lies, and political propaganda. Recently, the channel accidentally published Bardugo's talking points script on air, without removing the briefing instructions.

PM Netanyahu is hostile to the Democratic administration, contrary to the long-standing policy of Israeli governments not to take positions in internal American political disputes to avoid harming Israel's interests. The judicial overhaul promoted by Netanyahu's government has made him an unwelcome figure in the US and other Western democracies, while Netanyahu and his government members have grown closer to authoritarian regimes and leaders, with Donald Trump, the Republican candidate running against Harris, being the most prominent among them.

The accusation of Harris as a "terrorism supporter" reflects the Trumpist propaganda campaign, which is full of lies. In practice, the Biden administration has been one of the most pro-Israel in US history. Despite Netanyahu's support for Trump, the Biden administration mobilized to help Israel immediately after the October 7 massacre, when PM Netanyahu was desperate and at a loss. Biden flew to Israel himself, the US military deployed significant forces in the region, and Israel received military aid worth billions of dollars.
